Tour de France Free Betting Tips

It should be the most interesting stage so far of the Tour de France tomorrow, so I have been giving my predictions and betting tips a lot of thought.

The Tour de France odds are looking interesting, and there are two markets which could be worth a bet on. Firstly the Yellow Jersey Market This should be a straight race between Lance Armstrong and Alberto Contador and has the potential to be one of the best in team races ever. Both Armstrong and Contador have already hinted that this is where they will battle it out for the team leader spot. Contador should have it in him to win stage 7, but I think Lance Armstrong will make sure he is ahead, even if it kills him. He has said before that he can take more pain than any other rider, and there is nothing in his history to make me doubt it.

Next onto the Stage Winner Market Stage winners are always hard to call, but with the thoughts above in mind Armstrong is available at good value odds of 12 (at time of writing). There is not so much value in Contador‘s odds in my opinion. Of course, there is always the risk that neither Astana rider will end up at the front and if you are thinking that way you could do a lot worse than a bet on Frank Schleck.
