This will be Fabio Capello’s last chance to make adjustments before the World Cup qualifier with Croatia. Things feel so much better this time around, it almost feels like Capello does not need this match, which is a contrast to some previous campaigns when I felt that England could have down with double the amount of friendly matches they had.
Slovenia will not be coming to Wembley to lose though; they have only lost 2 of their last 7 games. They have a crunch match with Poland looming, so this will be a serious workout for them.
This is more of a ‘should win’ game for England than ‘must win’, which can lead to some tricky betting situations. My advice would be to avoid the correct score bets on concentrate on the match odds market. The odds are slim though; so it is a good one to use a free bet offer on to add a little to your betting bank.
I love to look at the first goal scorer market, but rarely bet. If I was, I would have to be tempted by Jermaine Defoe, he is on fire at the moment!
Note: Never bet with any money that you are not prepared to lose. Always form your own opinion when betting and do not blindly follow tips.
